How to reset your Apple ID password

1. On a trusted iOS device, such as iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, go to Settings.
2. Tap on your name, then select Password & Security.
3. If you are signed into iCloud and have passcode enabled, you will be asked to enter the passcode for your device. Simply follow the onscreen instructions to update your password.
4. Tap Change Password to complete the process.
