Visit the App Store or Google Play Store and search for Rogers Xfinity. Select Download and then sign in with your MyRogers credentials.
Your WiFi gateway and other devices on your WiFi network can be used to detect movement in your home. This setting is off by default, but you can activate it in the Rogers Xfinity app.

Select the WiFi tab to create customized user profiles and manage WiFi access for each member of the household.
1.Open Rogers Xfinity app.
2.From the WiFi tab, select WiFi Details.
3.Select Show Password.
Simply select a user profile or device under the WiFi tab, then select Pause to pause WiFi access. Learn more about how to pause devices from accessing your home WiFi network here.
1. Open Rogers Xfinity app.
2. Select the Home tab.
3. Select Advanced Security.
4. Select Turn On.
Note: It can take up to 10 minutes for Advanced Security to fully turn on.
- Access to Rogers Xfinity requires Internet from Rogers, the Rogers Xfinity Gateway , a MyRogers account and a compatible iOS or Android device.
- The Pause function blocks access to the internet for devices connected to your home WiFi network. Pausing a device may not immediately disrupt activity already in progress and cannot block internet access for a device using cellular data or any other WiFi network.
- When enabled in the Rogers Xfinityapp, Advanced Security helps reduce the risk of connected devices accessing known sources of malware, spyware, bots, phishing as well and unauthorized or suspicious access attempts while connected to your home WiFi network. Rogers Xfinity Advanced Security does not guarantee protection from all online threats and this feature may experience disruption, inaccurate results and other limitations impacting performance. - Parental Controls are intended to help reduce the risk of devices accessing websites and applications generally deemed inappropriate while connected to yourWiFi network. Parental Controls must be enabled through the Rogers Xfinity app and are not guaranteed to block access to all inappropriate content. Practicing online safety is always recommended. Parental Controls cannot block inappropriate content available through your Rogers Xfinity TV service.
