Existing Rogers Home Phone customers who subscribe to an Rogers Xfinity TV Bundle must switch to the Rogers Voice service (activation optional) and their existing home phone service will no longer be available. Rogers Voice operates with the Rogers Xfinity Gateway modem with no battery back-up. In the event of a power or network outage/disconnection, Rogers Voice service will not be available and you will not be able to make any voice calls, including Emergency 9-1-1 calls. Certain features not available with Rogers Voice service, including TV call display, distinctive ring, auto connect, foreign exchanges and multiple lines.
