Show My Caller ID

Are you activating new mobile or desktop extensions, but don’t want your clients, partners or other callers to have to remember a new set of phone numbers? Then Show My Caller ID, which allows you to control which number is displayed on caller ID when you make calls, is the perfect feature.

Show My Caller ID is a great way to protect your investment in marketing materials and stationery, expand your business into new regions and enable your users to upgrade to new devices.

Here’s how to set up Show My Caller ID on the mobile app or on the user portal:

  1. Set the toggle switch to the right/green setting.
  2. Click on the “Edit” link.
  3. Select the radio button that corresponds to the phone number/mobile phone number or Show My Caller ID number that you’d like to have sent to contacts when you call them.
  4. Click on “Save” when you are satisfied with your settings.

If you disable Show My Caller ID, an “Unknown” message will show up on your contact’s caller ID.
