How do I make video and voice calls with the Soft Phone Calling feature?

Soft Phone Calling is an easy way to make and take calls over the internet using a computer or mobile device. To get started, first you’ll need to download the Rogers Unison software, which is available for Android devices, iOS devices and both Windows and macOS computers.

To make a call using the Soft Phone Calling feature, access the directory, which is the icon that looks like a silhouette of two people. Next, search for the name of the person you’d like to call, or scroll to their name and select it. On mobile devices, you can search both your device’s list of contacts and your company’s directory.

Once you have opened their profile, select the phone handset icon in the bottom-left corner to make a voice call or on the video camera icon to make a video call. You can also use the number pad on the dial screen to make calls without going through the directory, and choose whether to make it a video or voice call.

While a call is active, you will see icons to mute the call, put it on hold, and hang up. To receive a call, select either the green phone icon on your soft phone screen beside the number of the person calling you or the “Accept” button on the bottom right corner of your computer screen. You can also decline the call if you aren’t available.
