Forward calls (busy line/no answer) using Home & Away Online-Manager

Here’s how to forward incoming calls to an alternate telephone number when your phone line is in use or can‘t be answered.

Getting Started: Opening the Home & Away Online-Manager

To configure the Forward Busy & Unanswered Calls feature’s settings, start by opening the Home & Away Online-Manager using your MyRogers self-serve account.

  1. Sign in to MyRogers.
    • If you're experiencing difficulties signing in, you can recover your MyRogers username or password.
    • Don't have a MyRogers account? Register now to manage your services.
  2. Click on Usage & Services.
  3. Click on the Home Phone number you are looking to manage.
  4. Click on Configure your current features. You are now on the Home & Away Online Manager home page.

Activate Forward Busy & Unanswered Calls Online

  1. Click the Forwarding tab.
  2. Next to Forward Busy & Unanswered Calls click Configure.
  3. Set the desired settings for each option and click Next.
  4. Click Confirm to save the changes.

Deactivate Forward Busy & Unanswered Calls Online

  1. Click the Forwarding tab.
  2. Next to Forward Busy & Unanswered Calls click Configure.
  3. Select Turn Forwarding OFF for the option(s) you want to disable and click Next.
  4. Click Confirm to save the changes.

Note:

  • These options are only available if you don’t subscribe to voicemail.
  • If you forward your calls to a telephone number outside your local calling area, the usual long distance charges will be billed to your account if the call is answered at that number. You will also need to dial/enter 1 before the number being forwarded to.
  • Only one call can be forwarded at a time. While the line is being used to forward, any other caller will get a busy signal.
  • Call Forwarding can only be used to forward calls to Canadian and US numbers.
