Bandsteering is enabled by default on the Rogers Xfinity Gateway. This helps ensure your devices automatically connect to the WiFi network with the strongest signal.

If you want to check that bandsteering is still turned on, you can use Rogers Xfinity app.

Keep in mind:If you have WiFi Pods, you won't see your 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz WiFi networks listed separately. Pods require that you only have one WiFi network name and password so that all your devices can seamlessly connect to the network that will provide the best WiFi signal at any given time.
