Set up automatic payments with My Rogers online

Set up pre-authorized debit  

  1. Access your MyRogers account from rogers.com. 

  1. Select Set up Automatic Payments. 

  1. Select Use a bank account for Automatic Payments and enter your payment information. 

  1. Select Continue. 

  1. Accept the Pre-authorized Debit Terms and Conditions and select Submit. It may take a full billing cycle for your first pre-authorized payment to be withdrawn. If you have a balance on your account, you should make a one-time payment to avoid late payment charges. 

If you’re having trouble with this method, you can upload a void cheque or a direct deposit form from a Canadian financial institution. Please note that it may take longer to update your payment details.

Set up Automatic Payments with pre-authorized credit card

  4. Select Continue.

  1. Tap the menu button in the top left corner and select Payment or Billing and Payment. 

  1. Tap Change Payment Method. 

  1. Tap Pre-authorized Chequing and enter your payment information.. 

  1. Tap Save Payment Method. It may take a full billing cycle for your first pre-authorized payment to be withdrawn. If you have a balance on your account, you should make a one-time payment to avoid late payment charges.

How quickly can I update my payment method?

Pre-Authorized Credit Card

If this is the first time you’re signing up for Automatic Payments, starting on your next bill, your payments will automatically be taken from your credit card. To avoid any late payment charges, we recommend you make a one-time payment for your balance.

If you’re already signed up for Automatic Payments and just updating your credit card, it must be registered at least 48 hours before the withdrawal date on your bill for the payment to process on time. If you’re updating your card less than 48 hours from your scheduled withdrawal date, to avoid any late payment charges, we recommend you make a one-time payment for your outstanding balance.

Pre-Authorized Debit

If you’re setting up Automatic Payments for the first time, the payment may not be withdrawn until your next billing cycle. We recommend you make a one-time payment for your balance to avoid late payment charges.

If you were already signed up and just updating your bank information, it must be registered at least 48 hours before the withdrawal date on your bill for the payment to process on time. If you are updating your information and it is less than 48 hours from your scheduled withdrawal date, to avoid any late payment charges, we recommend you make a one-time payment for your outstanding balance. 

If you mail in your request, a pre-authorized debit change can take up to 6 weeks to process. When mailing in your request for a change to your pre-authorized debit, only cheques and direct deposit forms from Canadian financial institutions are accepted.

You can avoid the requirement for a cheque or direct deposit form altogether by making your pre-authorized debit change online through MyRogers.

How to set up automatic payments with My Shaw

If you’re a Rogers Together With Shaw customer, you can also set up auto payments. Set up automatic payments for your monthly bills using the My Shaw website (my.shaw.ca) or the My Shaw app  (Apple App Store | Google Play Store).  

Note: If you're using a Visa Debit or Mastercard Debit card for Automatic Payments, your card must be enabled for recurring e-commerce transactions to work with Automatic Payments. This feature can be turned on in your online banking app or by contacting your bank if you haven't already done so.

Set up automatic payments with the My Shaw website

To set up Automatic Payments using the My Shaw website: 

  1. Sign in to my.shaw.ca. 

  1. Scroll down to Automatic Payments. 

  1. Select Set up Automatic Payments. 

  1. Select Credit card or Bank account as your preferred payment method. 

  1. Select Continue. 

  1. Enter your credit card or bank account details. 

  1. Select Sign up to enable Automatic Payments. 

You can cancel Automatic Payments at any time by repeating steps 1 and 2 and selecting Unsubscribe. Or select Edit to change the payment method of your existing Automatic Payments. You can also save your credit card details for automatic payments while paying online.

Set up automatic payments with the My Shaw app

To set up Automatic Payments using the My Shaw app (Apple App Store | Google Play Store):  

  1. Open the My Shaw app. 

  1. Select the Billing tab in the bottom menu. 

  1. Scroll down to Manage Billing and toggle Automatic Payments on. 

  1. Select the Pay Bill button. 

  1. Select New Payment Card or Bank Account as your payment method. 

  1. Enter your credit card or bank account details. 

  1. Select Confirm. 

You can cancel Automatic Payments at any time by repeating steps 1 and 2 and toggling Automatic Payments off. Or select Edit to change the payment method of your existing Automatic Payments. You can also save your credit card details for Automatic payments while paying in the app by selecting the Set up Automatic Payments box.

Set up automatic payments by contacting us

  1. Select the link and input your credit card/bank information.   

  1. Select Add This Card.  Shape
