Restarting your Rogers Xfinity Entertainment Box
By manually unplugging
- Unplug your Rogers Xfinity Entertainment Box from the power outlet.
- Wait 30 seconds.
- Plug your Rogers Xfinity Entertainment Box back in.
- An Rogers Streaming welcome screen will display, and the Box should resume functioning normally.
- Press the A button on your Rogers Xfinity Voice Remote to open the Help
- Select Restart.
- Select Restart again to confirm.
- Wait a few moments for the system to reboot.
- An Rogers Streaming welcome screen will display, and the Box should resume functioning normally.
With the Power button
- Make sure all your Rogers Streaming cables are tightly secured.
- Hold the Power button on your Rogers Xfinity Voice Remote for 10 seconds to restart the Rogers Xfinity Entertainment Box.
- An Rogers Streaming welcome screen will display, and the Box should resume functioning normally.
From Device Settings
- Press the Rogers button on your Rogers Xfinity Voice Remote to open the Rogers Streaming main menu.
- Select Settings (the gear icon).
- Select Device Settings.
- Select Power Preferences.
- Select Restart.
- Select Restart again to confirm.
- An Rogers Streaming welcome screen will display, and the Box should resume functioning normally.
