Change the Dispatch Method

The following steps explain how to change your dispatch method, as well as how to change the status of your contacts.

  1. Your dispatch method can only be changed by a Smart Home Monitoring representative. To arrange this, please call 1 888 764-3771.
  2. Want to change your list of contacts from Verify to Notify? You can do this easily by logging into the Smart Home Monitoring App. Here’s how:
    • Download the Rogers Smart Home Monitoring app to your mobile device from the App Store or Google Play Store.
    • Sign in using your MyRogers username and password.
    • Select More.
    • Select Contacts.

    Emergency Verification Contacts

    • When an alarm is triggered, these contacts will be called to verify the emergency.
    • Select + Add Contact to add a contact. If contacts are already listed, you can select a contact to edit.

    Emergency Dispatch Contacts

    • When an emergency is verified and authorities are on their way, these contacts will be notified.
    • Tap on + Add Contact to add a contact. If contacts are already listed, you can select a contact to edit.

    Automation Contacts

    • These contacts receive a text notification or email when a rule has been triggered.
    • Tap + Add Contact to add a contact. If contacts are already listed, you can select a contact to edit.
