Pair SMC D3GN to Touchpad

The following steps explain how to pair the touchpad to a SMC D3GN wireless gateway.

1. From the Welcome to Product Activation screen, on the touchpad press Next.
2. Select the type of router the touchpad will connect to and press Next.
   • Choose one of the following:
     • Router - Touchpad connects to the router/modem wirelessly.
     • Ethernet with Router - Touchpad connects to the router/modem using an Ethernet cable.
3. Select Router.
4. Press Next.
5. Check the MAC address on the SMC and select the MAC address on the touchpad.
6. Press Next.
7. The Configuring and Securing of the Router screen is displayed as the touchpad establishes a firm connection with the gateway, the broadband servers, and the cellular connectivity servers.
