These steps explain how to use the arming states that are available on the keypad.
Arm Away (Running Man) Button
Enter valid keypad code and press Arm Away to arm the system in Arm Away Mode.
- Disarm will turn red for three seconds to indicate the Exit Delay has started.
- Disarm will flash orange seven times if system is not ready to arm (faulted zone).
Arm Stay (Standing Man) Button
Enter a valid keypad code and press the Arm Stay to arm system in Arm Stay Mode.
- Disarm will turn red for three seconds to indicate the Exit Delay has started.
- Disarm will flash orange seven times if the system is not ready to arm (faulted zone).
Disarm Button
Enter a valid keypad code and press Disarm to disarm system.
- Disarm will turn green for three seconds to indicate the system is disarmed.
Emergency Police Alarm (Shield) Button
Press and hold Emergency Police Alarm for two or more seconds to send a silent alarm to central monitoring requesting police assistance.
- The touchpad will not react in any way but if history is checked there will be a listing of the alarm being sent.
