Confirm that your existing doorbell works by pressing the button and listening for the chime.

Locate your chime box and doorbell transformer.

Determine how your current doorbell is powered.

Confirm your doorbell wiring meets voltage requirements. Your Rogers Xfinity Video Doorbell needs a voltage between 16–24 volts (VAC) and 20VA.
