Follow these steps to install your Ignite Indoor Camera using the Ignite HomeConnectTM app. We recommend pairing your camera before installing it on the wall.
Important: Only pair 1 camera at a time.

How to activate and pair your Ignite Indoor Camera
Before you install, you need to activate and pair your Ignite Indoor Camera. Make sure you’ve installed the Ignite HomeConnect app to get started.
- From the Ignite HomeConnect app main screen, select Home.
- Select Add smart devices, then Ignite Camera.
- Select the camera you’d like to install.
- Select Get started and follow the steps in the app to connect your camera.
Note: You can always schedule a pro-install by calling 1-888-764-3771 to schedule an appointment if you are uncomfortable completing the installation yourself.
How to install your Ignite Indoor Camera
Not Mounted:
If you’re placing your camera on a shelf or piece of furniture, then there's no need to mount it. Just plug it in and get started. Use the Ignite HomeConnect app to view your camera stream.
Mounted:
- Check that you can view the camera stream on the Ignite HomeConnect app.
- Mark and drill a hole to secure the camera to a flat surface. Use a 1/8” bit for pilot holes, if only using the included screw. Use a 1/4” bit if using the included anchor.
- Mount the camera to the surface using the included screw (and anchor, if desired).
- Use the app to view the camera stream and adjust the camera angle, if needed.
