What You'll Need

In order to install the doorbell camera, you’ll need the following tools:

  • Power drill

  • #2 Phillips-head screwdriver

  • Needle nose pliers

Turn off the power to your doorbell. Installing your doorbell while the power is on may result in serious injury and/or damage. Find your home’s circuit breaker and switch off the power to your doorbell. Try ringing it to make sure the power is off.

Doorbell requirements

You’ll need an existing Wired doorbell system with a required voltage of 16-24v. If you don’t, you’ll need to contact a qualified electrician to complete the wiring process before being able to complete your Rogers Xfinity Video DoorbellTM (Wired) setup.

Before you begin

Important: Make sure you turn off the power to your doorbell from your home’s circuit breaker before starting any work. Installing while the power is still on may result in serious injury and/or damage to your doorbell.
