What's Included?
Before you begin…
Make sure you’ve already set up your Ignite InternetTM. Without it, you won’t be able to install the Smart Hub.
You will also need your MyRogers credentials. Forgot your username or password? Learn how to recover your forgotten MyRogers credentials here.
Optimizing Smart Hub placement:
Choose an open, central location with a strong WiFi connection that’s at least 6 feet away from your Ignite WiFi Gateway modem
Keep visible - avoid placing behind cabinets or furniture
Do not plug your Smart Hub into an extension cord or outlet connected to a switch.
Maintain space from appliances, electronics and metal, concrete, or glass.
Connecting your Smart Hub:
- Download the Rogers Smart Home Monitoring app to your smartphone or tablet from the Google Play or App Store.
- Sign in to the app using your MyRogers credentials.
- Follow the app’s on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
- Once your Smart Hub set up is complete, use the app to add the smart light bulb, door/window sensor and then the camera
