Switch easily between which motion events send you notifications when you’re at home or away. You can customize your Home & Away mode settings in the Rogers Xfinity app.
For example, you may want certain motion sensors to alert you if they detect motion when you’re out of the house, but not when you’re at home.
Home & Away modes are available to customers with an Rogers Xfinity Self Protection plan and at least one sensor or camera activated.
By default, setting your system to Home mode disables alerts and allows you to freely move around. When you set your system to Away mode, your devices will be ready to alert you of activity to protect your home while you’re away.
You can customize which activities you’d like to be notified of in each mode in the Rogers Xfinity app.
Go to the Home tab in the Rogers Xfinity app and use the toggle to switch between Home & Away modes.
