Turn notifications on or off for Ignite Cameras

Motion Notifications send a notification to your phone each time your Ignite IndoorTM/Outdoor Camera (Wired) or Ignite Doorbell CameraTM (Wired) detects motion or when someone rings your doorbell. You can turn notifications on or off for any of your cameras as well as specify the type of activity that triggers a notification.

Turn motion notifications on or off

  1. Download the Ignite HomeConnect app from the App Store or Google Play if you haven’t already.
  2. Sign in with your MyRogers username and password.
  3. If prompted, allow permission for the app to send notifications to your phone.
  4. Select the Security
  5. Go to the camera and select the camera thumbnail.
  6. On the camera screen, select the Settingsicon in the upper-right corner.
  7. Select Notifications.
  8. Select the On/Offswitch to turn on notifications.
  9. Choose which events you’d like to trigger a notification.
    • You can choose People, or All Events for the Ignite Indoor/Outdoor Camera.
    • For Ignite Doorbell Camera, you can choose Deliveries, People, Deliveries and Peopleor All events.

Turn doorbell ring notifications on or off

Doorbell Ring Notifications send a notification to your phone each time your Ignite Doorbell Camera is pressed. Doorbell Ring Notifications are turned On by default. Select the alert to open the live view. From there, you can select Talk to communicate with the person that’s at your door.

  1. Select the Security tab.
  2. Go to the doorbell camera and select the camera thumbnail.
  3. On the camera screen, select the Settings icon in the upper-right corner.
  4. In the Notifications section, turn the Doorbell Ring setting On/Off.
