Restarting or Resetting your Ignite WiFiTM Gateway is a simple way to resolve various technical difficulties. There are a few ways you can do this.

Restart the modem Using the Ignite HomeConnect app

If you can’t reach the power cord for your modem, you can quickly reboot it using the Ignite HomeConnectTM. Try this first

  1. Sign in to the Ignite HomeConnect app using your MyRogers username and password.
  2. Select WiFi, then View WiFi equipment
  3. Select the Gateway modem.
  4. Select Restart then, Restart Gateway.

Reset the modem using the reset button

As a last resort or if you forgot your admin password, you may need to return the modem back to its Factory Settings. You will need to set it up again after doing this.
