What's Included?

Vantiva Cobra 5G gateway

Power cable/adaptor

Before you begin:

Find a location on the highest floor of your home, near a window with a clear, unobstructed view of the outdoors.
Review the Important Safety Instructions included in the box.
Ensure your 5G gateway is unplugged from the power outlet.

Step 1: Insert the SIM card

Insert your nano-SIM into the SIM card slot until it clicks into place.
Connect the power adapter to your 5G gateway and plug it into a power outlet.
Wait a few minutes for the front panel indicator to turn to a steady colour. If it turns red, move to another location near a window with a clear outdoor view and try again.

Note: 5G Home Internet requires the listed 5G Internet SIM Cards. If you didn't receive the correct SIM, visit your nearest Rogers stores to get the SIM exchanged.

Step 2: Connect your devices

Manual Wireless connection:

Use the default network name and password printed on the bottom label of the device. vantiva easy setup guide label

Automatic Wireless connection from cellphone or tablet with camera:

To connect wirelessly, use your phone or tablet to scan the QR code on the base of your 5G gateway with your camera. Follow the instructions on the screen to automatically connect wirelessly.

Connect with using the app

If you want to use the app for setting up your Vantiva Cobra 5G Xtream, download the NaviGate Companion™ app to your phone or tablet and follow the on-screen instructions.

Wired connection:

For a wired connection, connect an Ethernet cable (not included) from your 5G gateway to your device.

Advanced settings:

Access the web interface by using the URL and default username/password provided on the label at the base of your 5G gateway.

Download the NaviGate Companion™ app on your mobile device.
