Configure WiFi on ZTE MF28B

The following steps explain how to change the SSID, password, wireless encryption, and enable/disable wireless settings on the ZTE MF28B.

1. Open a browser and enter the following in the address bar:
   • 192.168.1.1
2. Log in with the password admin.
3. Click Settings.
4. Click WiFi Settings.
5. Click Basic.
6. Check the following settings:
   • WiFi On/Off: Enable.
     • To turn off WiFi click Disable.
   • Network Mode: 11 b/g/n Mixed Mode.
   • Network Name(SSID): Enter the desired network name.
   • Broadcast Network Name (SSID): To have the network visible select Enable.
     • To hide the network click Disable.
   • Click Apply to save changes.
7. Click Security.
8. Check the following settings:
   • Security Mode: WPA-PSK or WPA2-PSK.
   • Passphrase: Enter the network password.
     • Must be at least 8 characters.
   • Click Apply to save changes.
