Install your Rocket internet device

The following steps explain how to install the Sony Ericsson MD400G for Windows 7.

1. Plug the Rocket Stick into the computer.
2. Close the AutoPlay window by clicking on the X in upper right corner.
3. Click Start.
4. Click Computer.
5. Double click on the Sony Ericsson MD400G.
   • It may be listed as MD400G.
6. Open the folder named Install.
7. Locate the Setup file then right click on it and click Properties.
8. In the Properties window click the Compatibility tab.
9. Check the Run the program in compatibility mode for box and select Windows Vista (Service Pack 2) from the drop down list.
10. Click Apply then OK.
    • If the box is greyed out, click the Change settings for all users which will launch another tab, uncheck the second window and click OK. You should now be able to select it from the first dialogue box.
11. Run the setup file.
12. When the setup is complete unplug the Rocket Stick for 10 seconds and plug it back in. Once plugged in the new drivers will be installed.
