How to pair and program your Rogers Xfinity Voice Remote

Follow these simple steps to pair your Rogers Xfinity Voice Remote with your Rogers Xfinity Stream Box. 

You can also program the remote to work with your TV. And if you’d like to control the volume using your remote, you can easily program it to work with AV receivers or sound bars. 

This article is for the XR100 Voice Remote. If you have a different model, check out the instructions for other Rogers Xfinity Voice Remotes. 

Before you start

  • Power on. Turn on your TV and/or audio device. 
  • Check Voice Commands. Press the oem-apple-watch-compare-RX-PNG-features_microphone_large button on the Rogers Xfinity Voice Remote and say “Settings.”

Did your settings screen appear? 

If yes, go ahead to Connected devices and program your remote to work with your TV and audio devices. 

If no, you’ll need to pair your remote with the Rogers Xfinity Stream Box. 

 

Pair your Rogers Xfinity Voice Remote with the Rogers Xfinity Stream Box

Once paired, you can use your remote to change channels, use voice commands, search for shows and much more… even if you’re in another room! 

Follow these steps to set up your remote. 

  • Press the oem-apple-watch-compare-RX-PNG-features_microphone_large button.
  • Wait for your remote to connect and select Continue

or 

  • On the main screen, scroll down and select Settings
  • Select Connected devices. 
  • Select Remote
  • Press and hold the numbers 1 and 3 on your remote for 3 seconds to connect your remote by Bluetooth. 
  • Wait for your remote to connect and select Continue

You can now follow the on-screen prompts to choose whether you want your voice remote to control your TV’s power and volume and other devices like a sound bar or speaker system. 

You’ve now paired your XR100 voice remote to the Rogers Xfinity Stream Box. Try using voice commands.
