Connecting your NextBox 4K:
Connect your NextBox 4K to the coax outlet using the power cord provided.
Plug the NextBox 4K into an electrical outlet using the power cord provided.
Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI port located on the back of the NextBox 4K.
Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI port on the back of your TV. Note the name of the HDMI port you selected (e.g. HDMI 1 or HDMI 2). You will need this later on in "Authorizing Your NextBox 4K".
Authorizing your NextBox 4K:
Ensure the NextBox 4K and the TV are turned on, then press the CABLE and POWER buttons on your Rogers remote.
Wait for the time to appear on the NextBox 4K. The display time won't appear until the boot is complete, which could take up to an hour.
Change your TV input by pressing Input or Source on your TV or by using your TV's remote control. Set it to the HDMI input used in "Connecting Your NextBox 4K".
Confirm your NextBox 4K is authorized by pressing the POWER button on the Rogers remote.
Change to channel 003. If channel 003 does not display on the screen, please call 1-866-894-9962 to have your NextBox 4K authorized.
Program your Rogers remote:
Follow the below steps to pair your remote to your TV.
Press and hold SETUP until the LED light blinks twice.
Press TV mode button.
Press and hold OK.
Release button when TV turns off.
Press the POWER button to check whether it turns on the TV.
Follow the below steps for advanced pairing, which will allow you to control your TV without line of sight, through a door or a wall.
Press and Hold the SETUP button + UP ARROW at the same time to put the remote control in pairing mode.
The CABLE button will continually flash until pairing is completed. Once pairing is successful, the LED under the CABLE button will flash twice.
Optional steps:
Sharing a coax outlet: If the best location to install your NextBox 4K already has a device connected to the coax outlet, you can use the provided splitter and coax cable to connect your NextBox 4k.
