How to Access the Sportsnet app

Thanks to Ignite TV’s All-in-one Search and Ignite Voice Remote, you can access the Sportsnet app in seconds. 

Here’s how to do it:

With a voice command

  1. Press and hold the Mic button on your Ignite Voice Remote.
  2. Say “Open Sportsnet App,” or simply “Sportsnet App.”
  3. The Sportsnet app will open instantly.

Without a voice command

  1. Press the Rogers button on your Ignite Voice Remote to open the main menu.
  2. Select Apps.
  3. Select Sportsnet.
  4. The Sportsnet app will open instantly.

How to subscribe to Sportsnet

Don’t have a Sportsnet account? That’s okay! Even without a subscription or signing in to the app, you can still watch free highlight videos and other content.

But if you want access to live games and more exciting content, here’s how to subscribe:

  1. To start a new subscription, open the Sportsnet app on Ignite TV.
  2. Select Sportsnet+.
  3. Select Subscribe.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to subscribe and create a Sportsnet account.

How to access Sportsnet content on Ignite TV

There are two ways you can access Sportsnet content on Ignite TV.

Via your Sportsnet account

  1. Open the Sportsnet app on Ignite TV.
  2. Select Sportsnet+.
  3. Select Sign In.
  4. Select Sportsnet+ Online: Sign In.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions and enjoy the extra content your subscription brings!

Via your MyRogers account

  1. Open the Sportsnet app on Ignite TV.
  2. Select Sportsnet+.
  3. Select Sign In.
  4. Select Rogers Ignite TV or other TV providers.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your Sportsnet account on another device (your TV). A code will display on your TV.
  6. Enter the code displayed on your TV to the activation web page sportsnet.ca/ignitetv.
  7. Select Rogers.
  8. Enter your MyRogers username and password.
  9. Select Sign In. The Sportsnet app on Ignite TV is now connected to your account and you’ll be signed in going forward.
